• What is contractor accommodation?+

  It is housing for people working away from home on a temporary basis — typically a furnished house or apartment rather than a hotel. It suits contractors, trades, engineers and project teams who need somewhere comfortable to stay for anything from a few nights to several months.

• Do you book the accommodation, or just show listings?+

  You search and view properties on the site, then send an enquiry. A person at Mayra Housing follows up to confirm availability, pricing and the details for your dates. Booking and payment are handled directly with Mayra, not on the website.

• Can I book a whole house for my crew?+

  Yes. Most properties are whole houses or apartments taken for the team. Some houses can also be let room by room if you only need a few spaces.

• Are bills included?+

  Where a property includes bills, that is shown on the listing. Most contractor properties are set up as all-inclusive so there is a single predictable cost.

• Is there parking for work vans?+

  Parking varies by property and is stated on each listing, including how many vehicles it takes. City-centre apartments often have no parking — use the parking filter if your team travels by van.

• How long can we stay?+

  Stays range from a few nights to long-term project lengths. Each property shows its minimum stay. Longer stays can usually be arranged on a rolling basis.

• What happens after I send an enquiry?+

  You will see a confirmation with a reference, and Mayra Housing will follow up by email or phone to confirm what is available for your location, dates and team size. If nothing on the site fits, tell us what you need and we will look into options.

• Which areas do you cover?+

  Coverage is shown by the locations listed on the site. If your work location is not listed, send an enquiry with the details and we will let you know if we can help.

• Do you work with companies booking for multiple teams?+

  Yes. See the For companies page. Mayra can arrange multiple properties, a single point of contact and consolidated billing for project teams.
